Characterisation
In order to understand the characterisation of the characters in A Streetcar Named Desire, we tried to look at the representation of class and status. We discussed ideas about what the difference between class and status, and attempted to distinguish between which characters had the highest. This helped improve my overall performance because when I then needed to play Stanley in a scene, I was able to use the techniques and new-found knowledge in order to influence my portrayal of him.
